Very interesting. Didnt know he was an atheist.
my heart sank when ricky says he can’t believe in god. having been athiest most of my life, i understand the argument and more importantly, the loneliness of it. i hope he finds faith, it opens the world, universe, life to all sorts of joy
@ Josh – Yeah, he says it in a somber way. I don’t want to read too much into how he’s saying it (because I can’t exactly tell if its a sadness about the state of affairs with religion, or a feeling of loneliness.)
It’s hard to dissect psychology a guy’s whole world view from a few snippets. But I found it very, very interesting.
