One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson
about a battle that goes on inside all people.

He said, “My son, the battle is between two
wolves that dwell inside each and everyone of us.

“One is Evil.
It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed,
arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority,
lies, false pride, superiority and ego.

The other is Good.
It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility,
kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity,
truth, compassion and faith.”

The grandson thought about it for
a minute, and then asked his grandfather:

“Which wolf will win ?”

The old Cherokee simply replied:
“The one you feed.”

jedi-tesco

Daniel Jones (Jedi name Morda Hehol), the founder of the Star Wars Jedi religion aka Church of Jediism (yes…its real), is considering legal action after he was “humiliated and victimized” in a UK supermarket (Tesco), when he was asked to remove his Jedi hood.

church-of-jediismThe Church of Jediism reportedly has 500,000 members. The continues a long line of religious persecution…and it must stop. First the Jews, then the Christians, then the Muslims…. now the freakin’ Jedis. When will this madness end?

It’s a sad world we live when a Jedi can not practice with his “force” in peace.

jim-jones-blagojevich

Great PBS documentary on Jim Jones and the tragedy at Jonestown, Guyana.

Not to make too much light of the situation, but don’t Jim Jones and Rod Blagojevich seem to be father and son. I mean, look at those two noggins!

I laughed…hard..at this. Please to enjoy… The Church of The Banana

church-of-banana

CotB Mission Statement:

Our Religion is a simple one… we celebrate all of the Holidays of every other Religion.
After all, in this busy world, can’t we all use more holidays?
We wish you a Happy Bananamus!

Why bananas, you ask? The simple answer is, we like bananas.
So much so, that we’ve dedicated this site to them… you could say we even worship them. But that’d be a little crazy. So, just leave it at: We like bananas.

psychedelic-spirit

Terence McKenna was a writer and philosopher whose main area of focus was the study of the origin of human consciousness.

McKenna became a popular (yet controversial) counterculture figure in the 80s and 90s. The controversy stemmed both from his theories (the most famous being the “Stoned Aped Theory” – see video below.), and his exploration of altered states and endorsement of psychedelic drugs.

Here is are two short videos that cover some of his ideas:

Culture is Your Operating System (8 minutes)

Terence McKenna’s Stoned Ape Theory (as explained by comedian Joe Rogan). This is actually pretty hilarious! This one is about 4 minutes.

Terence McKenna bio on Wikipedia.
